This equine field surgery course is a great support for veterinarians who are in the countryside and for those who doesn´t have the opportunity of accessing an operating room on time. In this course I learned techniques that I was unable to witness at the Faculty. Techniques that can be performed in the field, which facilitates its resolution in cases where it is not feasible to transport the animal to another place. It is a very practical course, since after the theoretical classes, these techniques are applied in anatomical pieces, with the advantages that this brings. In addition, on the last day we witnessed several surgeries in which we were able to participate both in the induction of anesthesia and helping to perform the surgeries. Something to note is that we are witnessing the innovation of field inhalation anesthesia and balanced anesthesia.

Excellent overall course …I have been in Uruguay for almost 7 years, and at least I knew, there was never a course like this. It is very good because it starts thinking about the practice and continues like that until the last moment.
